Pacquiao vs Cotto Watch - Pacquiao Gears Up for Battle Against Cotto

With just few weeks into the much publicized and anticipated boxing fight of the year, Manny Pacquiao and Miguel Cotto are set to meet at the ring of the MGM Grand Las vegas Nevada on November 14, 2009.

The pound per pound Boxing King and six time world champion says he’s got his eye on his seventh title to complete his wins on seven different boxing weight divisions.

Various reports on the strained relationship of Manny and his long term coach and friend Freddy Roach has been going around. The conflict apparently started when the supposedly training camp of Manny was delayed and moved to Baguio City Philippines instead of the Coach’s much preferred location in Mexico. Political commitments and Manny’s movie making career seemed to put his boxing career outside the lime light.

The pound per pound fighter had to train in another location because of certain restrictions with the duration of time that he is legally permitted to train in the United States.

However with recent interviews, The Pacquiao-Roach Team up managed to pave its way as they made amends and prepared for the Pacquiao-Cotto match up this November.

Manny said in an interview that after 100 or so sparring sessions with highly acclaimed and talented boxing personalities, he feels good and ready for the match up. The Pound per Pound fighter recently completed a 12 round sparring session with Shawn Porter in Freddy Roach’s Wild Card Gym in Los Angeles California. They are now nearing the end of the Physical training as they tame down on the sparring sessions and focus on the mental preparations of Manny for the big fight.

The Pacquiao-Roach tandem seemed to regain mutual wavelength as they tell the world that they are positive in beating Puerto Rico’s pride and Welterweight title holder Miguel Cotto. Freddy Roach is looking into putting Cotto down in the 9th round.
